NWF Beaches International Airport Opens
On May 23, 2010 The Northwest Florida Beaches International Airport opened in West Bay near Panama City and Panama City Beach.  This is the first international airport to open in the U.S. in more than a decade.  The 125,000 square foot terminal building is distinctly decorated in open and peaceful Florida beach style.  This uniquely designed eco-friendly facility is possibly the "greenest" airport in the nation.  Daily flights are offered by Southwest Airlines and Delta Airlines to and from Atlanta, Memphis, Orlando, Houston, Baltimore and Nashville making it easier for us to share our beautiful area and beaches with the world!
